As a child Marie watched he mother meticulously sew and hand make high end clothing with a self trained instinct of high quality fabrication and silhouettes as well as her grandmother who would hand craft using ancient techniques to create heirloom pieces for clients. It was those early years that embedded a trained eye for craftsmanship and material. Years later Marie went on to become a leading bridal makeup artist and found a jewellery market for her clients who wanted high end pieces that were wearable, affordable and luxurious. It was from there that Anastasia Marie the Label was then founded to be a part of the intimate process of the passing down of jewels to loved ones and purchasing rare pieces that tell a story.
